The best kind of Monday ever – the kind where you get to go back to sleep at 7:30 AM when you woke up at 6:00 AM, and you didn’t even get to work yet! That last sentence was a total joke, since I don’t think getting a bunch of aerosolized drugs crammed down your gullet counts as “sleep” in the traditional sense of the word, and you have to have a “job” in order to go to work. I’m about to go to bed so I can get up at the crack of dawn tomorrow morning and go get my foot sawed open at SFGH. I’m really looking forward to it. I’m going to ask them if they will give me the metal plate from my foot so I can make a horrible piece of mixed media art from it. If I put it on Etsy you’d probably buy it, right? Maybe I could use that to pay my medical bills! Done and done. Above is a high desert shot for you this fine July evening. The point is, I’d rather be there, smelling sagebrush and listening to mourning doves, than smelling hospital disinfectant and listening to scary clinking steel.
